Injuries... Would you know how to treat them?

Impaled objects, burns, and broken bones.

Pencil in eye

When someone falls on a pencil and impales it in their eye or face, we should leave the pencil in the wound and use bulky padding to keep the pencil from moving. Both eyes should be covered to prevent the injured eye from moving. The last step in this bandaging process is to immobilize the pencil using bulky padding or a large cup to cover the pencil to keep it from hitting something that will move it.

Accident prevention for children

Protecting our children from dangers is a constant task. Even though we have more awareness today about accidents than our parents did, accidents still happen.

Children are our greatest asset. Keep them safe, so they can be good parents when they grow up.
